304 Stainless 180° Rotation Hydraulic Clamp 60-Second Exchange FDA Epoxy Surfaces 3-A Sanitary

The clean pallet never touches the dirty one, and nobody restacks by hand.

Incoming product arrives on shipping pallets — wood, recycled, sometimes from outside the facility entirely. None of it belongs inside a controlled space. The conventional fix is to manually restack every load onto a clean in-house pallet: slow, ergonomically punishing, and a contamination risk every time a gloved hand touches product. The pallet inverter removes the problem. It clamps the full load, rotates it 180°, and lets you swap the bottom pallet — a complete transfer from shipping pallet to clean pallet in about 60 seconds, with no manual restacking and no hand contact with the product.

The JL-INV 180 does that to cleanroom standard. The structure is Grade 304 stainless steel. The contact surfaces are finished with an FDA-compliant epoxy and electropolished to a measured roughness of Ra ≤0.5 µm — a sub-micron finish that sheds particles and resists bacterial anchorage through repeated washdown. The whole unit is built to the 3-A sanitary standard for equipment in food, dairy and pharmaceutical processing. A hydraulic clamp holds the load square through the rotation so the exchange is controlled, repeatable, and gentle on the product.

What ships with it

Each unit ships with its operator and maintenance documentation, a sanitary-standard conformity statement, and the factory data sheet confirming the as-built dimensions and load ratings — packed in the crate. Specify your pallet footprint, load profile and throughput at order and we'll confirm the geometry before build.

Every number we'll stand behind, on the page.

One configuration. Specs from the factory data sheet shipped with each unit.

Specification JL-INV 180
Material Grade 304 stainless steel
Rotation 180°
Clamp Hydraulic
Pallet exchange time ~60 seconds
Contact surfaces FDA-compliant epoxy
Surface finish Electropolished, Ra ≤0.5 µm
Sanitary standard 3-A sanitary
Origin Built to cleanroom spec · QC'd & shipped from Toronto, Ontario

We publish only the specs we'll stand behind. Full dimensional and load data — clamp opening range, rated load, platen dimensions, rotation drive ratings and cycle counts — is confirmed on the factory data sheet that ships with the unit and is tuned to your load profile. Specify your pallet footprint, maximum load and throughput at order and we'll confirm the geometry before build. No claims beyond material, rotation, clamp type, exchange time, contact surface, finish and sanitary standard are made on this page.

Why a stainless inverter beats manual restacking — on speed and on contamination.

A cleanroom pallet inverter earns its price when the substrate, the contact surface and the finish all meet sanitary standard — not just the rotation mechanism.

180° clamp-and-rotate

A hydraulic clamp holds the full load square, the frame rotates it a full 180°, and the bottom pallet swaps out. The clean in-house pallet never touches the incoming shipping pallet, and nobody handles the product to make the transfer.

60-second exchange

A full pallet exchange takes about 60 seconds — versus the minutes of manual restacking it replaces, with the ergonomic injury risk and contamination exposure that comes with hand-handling every load.

304 stainless structure

Grade 304 stainless throughout — the standard substrate for sanitary processing equipment. It doesn't shed, corrode or compromise a washdown regime the way painted steel does.

FDA-compliant epoxy contact surfaces

The surfaces that contact the load are finished with an FDA-compliant epoxy — appropriate for direct food and product contact and rated for the cleaning chemistry these environments run.

Electropolished to Ra ≤0.5 µm

The electropolish process brings the finish down to a measured roughness of Ra ≤0.5 µm — a sub-micron surface that sheds particles, gives bacteria nothing to anchor to, and survives repeated chemical washdown.

3-A sanitary standard

Built to the 3-A sanitary standard for equipment used in food, dairy and pharmaceutical processing — the design and finish criteria your sanitation and quality teams already audit against.

Paperwork in the crate. No follow-up tickets.

Every JL-INV 180 ships with the documentation a sanitary-processing quality, engineering or maintenance team asks for — packed in the crate with the unit.

What you don't need to ask for

Documentation arrives in the crate, not three weeks after the PO. If your team needs the sanitary statement or the data sheet before the unit lands, ask at order — we'll PDF both same day.

Same sanitary build. Roughly half the price.

304 stainless, FDA-epoxy contact surfaces and a 3-A sanitary build cost what they cost at the factory. The brand's margin and the distributor's quote wall add the rest. We cut both and publish the number.

A 3-A sanitary stainless inverter is a 3-A sanitary stainless inverter. It shouldn't cost $49,990 because there's a brand badge on the frame.

Same 304 stainless, same FDA-epoxy contact surfaces, same electropolished finish, same 3-A build. We publish the price the rest of the cleanroom industry hides behind a quote — because the only thing that quote wall ever protected was the markup.
